Mass Changes: Relationship Shift You can use this report to shift relationships for a task organization and support relationships for objects of an organizational structure to an earlier or later time.
Caution
When assignments are shifted, the system does not check the status or restart the approval process.
Use this application for processing data inconsistencies only. This may be necessary, for example, if you have shifted an operational structure or exercise target and have to adjust the material assignments. See Report: Shifting Operational Structures/Exercise Targets .
Depending on your selection, this report shifts either the overall relationships (that is, both the start and end of the validity period) or only the start or end date of the relationships by the number of days you specified.
The following
selection and processing parameters
are available in the
Shift Command and Support Relationships
application:
Command and Support Relationships
You specify which command and/or support relationships you want to shift.
Shift
Shifted Time Period
You specify the number of days by which you want to shift the current assignments. To shift assignments to a corresponding later time, enter a positive whole value (for example, 5 ). To shift assignments to a corresponding earlier time, enter a negative whole value (for example, ‑ 5 ).
Shift Validity Start Date
Specify whether the start date of the relationships is to be shifted.
Shift Validity End Date
Specify whether the end date of the relationships is to be shifted.
Note that selecting only one of the two options increases or decreases the relationship period.
Test Run
Specify whether you want to simulate the shift only (without data changes).
Assignments are shifted based on the following rules:
You can shift task organizations and support relationships only within the object periods of the objects concerned.
Note
You can also use the Business Add-In /ISDFPS/BADI_SHIFT_REL_ CUST to define your own checks for the permissibility of shifts. For more information, see Customizing under .
The system adjusts the assignment periods to match the validity of the related object, that is, they are decreased or deleted.
The system displays these changes in a log for both simulation and update runs. Automatic adjustments are reported in warning messages.
You can also use the Business Add-In /ISDFPS/BADI_SHIFT_REL_ CUST to define follow-up actions to be triggered after the shift.
Start the
Shift Command and Support Relationships
application (transaction /ISDFPS/SHIFT_REL).
Enter the required selection criteria and processing options.
