 Generic Selection Parameters (Reports)

Use

Many reports in the Organizational Flexibility area use the generic selection parameters listed below to select those objects (including the subordinate structure) that you want to display or edit with the relevant report.

The selection parameters listed here are not available for all reports. The selection parameters offered depend on the context in which the respective report is used.

Features

The following generic selection parameters are available:

  • Objects or <Object Type>

    In this section, you select the required objects.

    • Plan Version

      Start of the navigation path Enter the required plan version.     • Object Type

      Enter the object type for the highest-level object of the required structure.

    • Object ID or <Object Type>

      Enter the object ID for the highest-level object of the required structure.

    • Search Term

      You can also enter a search term instead of the Object ID . The system uses this value to search for object short texts or descriptions.

    • Object Status

      Specify the status that all objects must have to be included in the selection. If you do not specify a value, all statuses are included.

    • Data Status

      Select Data Status and specify the status that all infotypes must have to be included in the selection. If you do not specify a value, all statuses are included.

    • Set Structure Conditions

      Specify additional structure conditions.

  • Evaluation Period

    In this section, you select the required period of time.

  • Structure Parameters

    In this section, you define how to determine which structure is selected.

    • Evaluation Path

      Start of the navigation path Specify the required evaluation path.     • Status Vector

      You use the status vector to define the status of the relationships to be included in the evaluation.

    • Status Overlap

      Specify whether you want to carry out a simulation that displays the results after all relationship infotypes have been activated. The simulation activates all relationship infotypes with the status specified in Status Vector .

    • Display Depth

      Enter a positive value in whole numbers to specify the number of levels in the organizational structure that are to be displayed in the report. This does not restrict how data is edited.
