User Settings This function enables you to limit the display of objects and relationships in the
Structures Workbench
according to certain criteria. By doing so, you improve performance when you call the
Structures Workbench
and you can adjust the overview of the data to be processed to meet your requirements.
The settings are user-specific and can be saved temporarily for the current session, or permanently for all subsequent sessions.
All user settings apply in a session until they are changed by the user in the application. Any changes, such as the selection of a particular status, are copied temporarily to the user settings.
You configure the user settings directly using the transaction that is currently running in the
Structures Workbench
.

The following parameters are available:
General Settings
Header Element
Specify which object should be automatically selected when you call the
Structures Workbench
.
Editing Period
Specify the period that the system should use to display and edit objects.
Relationship Status
Specify which relationships are to be displayed.
Operation/Exercise
Specify whether relationships without contingent assignments are to be displayed for operations and exercises. This can also affect editing functions (see Change Operation/Exercise Structure ).
Project System
Select a project profile for which the data is to be copied to the project definition or the WBS elements when a project is created.

Technical Settings
Specify which view is displayed in the detail area when you call the
Structures Workbench
.

Save your settings:
Choose
Copy User Settings
to save the settings for the current session.
Choose
Save User Settings
to save the settings permanently for this and all subsequent sessions.
Choose
Delete User Settings
to reset the user settings to the standard values.
