  Controlling: Master Data and Hierarchy Generation

Purpose

To enable integration of the processes in the Defense Forces & Public Security component with those in Controlling (CO), you must make the system generate the following CO objects for new or modified force elements in accordance with rules that you have specified, and map them as corresponding CO standard hierarchies:

  • Cost center

  • Profit center

  • Cost center group

  • Profit center group

Prerequisites

You have familiarized yourself with the objects and functions of the Controlling component in SAP Library under SAP ERP Central Component .

Note Note

You do not have to activate the enterprise organization (CO-OM-CCA) in the SAP system for using master data and hierarchy generation.

Process Flow

Master Data and Hierarchy Generation

  1. You create one or more force elements or change force elements.

  2. You execute master data generation .

  3. You execute the approval process for the force element until the status is set to Active .

  4. You execute hierarchy generation .

Logs

You can display logs for the reports that you use for master data and hierarchy generation using the Display Application Log application (report /ISDFPS/ACCLOGDS).
