Task Organization A relationship (defined to the minute) between force elements for mapping temporary changes toorganizational and exercise or operation-specific command and control relationships.
Military leaders can use this temporary command and control relationship to organize their (temporarily) subordinate units to fulfill a particular order. They can also change this relationship for a specific location.
The mapping in the system is used for information purposes only. The business processes are still run using organizational and exercise or operation-specific command and control relationships.
A task organization can only be activated if both force elements have the status
Active.
Task organizations are displayed and edited on the
Task Organization
tab page in the
Structures Workbench
.

The relationships for the task organization are stored in the tables of the FORCER framework .
On each tab page, you can choose between the different relationship directions by choosing

. These texts override the names of the relationship directions.

Type of Task Organization
You can distinguish between task organizations by assigning the task organization type . This also allows you to carry out parallel task organizations at the same time. (As a prerequisite for this, the parallel relationships must be assigned to different types.)
