  Direct Change

Definition

The data area for force elements, positions, or object assignments that can be changed without being included in an organizational measure.

Use

Use this object to define data areas (these correspond to the tab pages) for force elements, positions, or object assignments that you can change in the Structures Workbench without having to assign the changes to an organizational measure .

Caution Caution

Changes that are made as a direct change can be made only to objects/assignments with the status Active . These changes are then assigned directly the status Active . The otherwise standard checks and follow-up actions are not triggered.

End of the caution.

Change documents are created in the same way as for change documents for organizational measures and can be displayed on the tab pages in the Structures Workbench .

Structure

Unlike in the case of organizational measures, you do not have to define any instances for direct changes. In Customizing, you define which tab pages are allowed to be edited as a direct change.

Note Note

A tab page can be both permitted for direct changes and included in an organizational measure.

End of the note.

In the Structures Workbench, this group of tab pages is then available to all users as a direct change as a selection option in addition to the organizational measures.
