 Defining and Executing Direct Changes

Defining a direct change

In order to edit data areas as a direct change, you have to carry out the following steps:

  1. In Customizing for Defense Forces and Public Security , define a direct change by choosing Start of the navigation path Organizational Flexibility Next navigation step Structures Workbench Next navigation step Organizational Measure Next navigation step Define Measure Types End of the navigation path .

  2. Specify which tab pages in the Structures Workbench are to be included in this direct change.

    In Customizing for Defense Forces and Public Security , you define the assignment of tab pages to direct changes by choosing Start of the navigation path Organizational Flexibility Next navigation step Structures Workbench Next navigation step Organizational Measure Next navigation step Assign Tab Pages.     You can access only those tab pages that you have already specified in Customizing for the Structures Workbench .

Executing a direct change

You are in edit mode in the Structures Workbench .

  1. Choose Measure and select the required direct change.

  2. Make the required changes and save your entries.

  3. If required, choose Change Documents to display the change documents that have been created.
