 Qualifications/Requirements

Definition

Assignment of qualifications and qualification blocks to positions, jobs, or persons.

Use

You can assign objects of type qualification (object type Q) or qualification block (object type QB) to jobs, positions, and persons to describe the qualification profile or requirement profiles . For more information about processing these assignments, see Qualification/Qualification Block Assignment .

Structure

You assign qualifications or qualification blocks in the Structures Workbench on the Personnel Categories tab page of the relevant objects. The following relationships are provided in the standard system:

Properties

The following fields are also available for these assignments:

  • Description

    Specifies the assigned qualification or qualification block.

  • Assigned as of/Assigned Until

    Specifies the validity period of the assignment.

  • Characteristic Value

    Specifies the characteristic value of the qualification or requirement.

  • Mandatory

    Specifies that the qualification or requirement is required.

  • Inherited / Relationship Inherited From

    Specifies whether the assignment was inherited from another object.

  • Notes

    You can add notes.

Storage

The assignments are stored as relationships in infotype 1001 .
