  Support Relationships

Definition

Functional relationships between force elements that are mapped to the minute by means of relationships.

Use

In contrast to hierarchical command and control relationships, you use support relationships to map functional relationships, in particular for controlling supply and maintenance processes.

A support relationship can only be activated if both force elements have the status Active.

Structure

Support relationships are displayed and edited on the Support Relationship tab page in the Structures Workbench .

To choose between the different relationships, you can choose Choose Relationship .

In Customizing for Defense Forces & Public Security , you can define which relationships are to be available for displaying and editing by choosing Start of the navigation path Organizational Flexibility Next navigation step Structures Workbench Next navigation step Tab Pages Next navigation step Define Tab Pages for Command and Support Relationships End of the navigation path .
