Material Assignment (Infotype 0800) Material that is assigned to a person.
The equipment of a person with material (that is, the material provided to the person and, if necessary, returned by the person) is created in the system using this infotype. A distinction is made between the following material assignments on the basis of two subtypes:
Functional equipment (FUNC)
Personal equipment (PERS)

Rather than in the
Structures Workbench
or using the applications of the
Personnel Administration
component (display only), processing is carried out using a specific report.

The following fields are available:
Material Category
Subtype
Material
The material number of the assigned or returned material.
Serial Number
The serial number of the individual piece of material.
Goods Receipt or Goods Issue Quantity
The number or quantity of issued or returned materials (in exceptional cases, also the number or quantity of material whose assignment was undone).
Base Unit of Measure
The base unit of measure in which the material is managed.
Mat. Assignment Status
Indicates whether the material has been assigned or already returned (in exceptional cases, also whether the assignment has been undone).

by choosing

Material Stor. Status
Indicates whether the material is
stored centrally
or
issued
(to the person directly). You specify this status when you assign the material. It has no control function and is for information purposes only.
Usage Type
The usage type that is valid for the assignment.
Output Document
A document that contains information about the goods movement when the material is issued (created in the
Materials Management
component, even if the material is stored centrally).
Return Document
A document that contains information about the goods movement when the material is returned (created in the
Materials Management
component, even if the assignment is cancelled).
Object ID
The higher-level force element.
Internal Number (MPO)
Reference to the material planning object to which the material is assigned (for functional equipment only).
Internal Number (MC)
Reference to the material container to which the material is assigned (for functional equipment only).
Internal Number (EPA)
Reference to the equipment package to which the material is assigned (for functional equipment only).
Condition Code
Indicates the condition of the material.
