Condition Code
Use
You define the condition code at material master level. It categorizes material stocks so that the availability and usability can be controlled.
Integration
In the material master record, the
Condition Management
field must be maintained,

Prerequisites
The material must be identified as batch-managed.
In Customizing, define the condition code to be used, including the description text and the movement types to be used for the condition code.
Features
Material conditions are mapped using batches.
If a material is identified as subject to condition management, the condition is mapped in the first digit of the batch number.
The following cases are distinguished:
Condition-managed material only:
Digit 1 = condition
Digits 2 to 10 = blank
Real vendor batches:
Digit 1 = condition
Digits 2 to 10 = internal sequence number from internal number assignment
A material can be subject to condition management (with condition code) as well as standard batch management.
The input help for batches allows you to search by vendor and vendor batch.
