Assignment of Account Assignment Objects and Budgeting Objects

Use

This function allows you to assign objects from Accounting, Funds Management, or Project System to objects from the Defense Forces & Public Security component .

Prerequisites

You have used SAP Library to familiarize yourself with the objects and functions from the Start of the navigation path Accounting,Funds Management(underSAP ERP Central Component Next navigation step Financials Public Sector Management End of the navigation path ), and Project System (under Financials ) components .

You are familiar with the Customizing settings under Start of the navigation path Project System Next navigation step Structures Operative Structures Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) User Interface Settings End of the navigation path as well as under Enhancements for Project Definition and WBS Elements Business Add-In: WBS Elements (BUS2054) .

You are familiar with the tab pages for the force element and material objects.

Assignment of CO Objects to Force Elements

Derivation of the Funds Center for Force Elements

The correct funds center is derived automatically on the basis of the relevant cost center (in some cases, also on the basis of a WBS element). See also Funds Center Derivation . Alternatively, you can change the derivation strategy on the Funds Management tab page using the corresponding pushbutton.

Assignment of WBS Elements to Force Elements

You can assign WBS elements to a force element on the WBS Element tab page in the Structures Workbench . You can use the relevant pushbutton to either assign an existing WBS element, including its project definition and description, or to create a new WBS element.

You can use the Project Builder to edit projects (project definitions and WBS elements) . To do so, choose Start of the navigation path Environment Next navigation step Project Builderin theStructures Workbench. In the Project Builder , you can also make assignments to force elements. To do so, you have to set up the WBS detail screen /ISDFPS/SAPLOM_PROJ in Customizing for Project System and implement the Business Add-In WBS Elements (BUS2054) .

As when you are setting up your own detail screens, enter a number >900.

Assignments of WBS Elements to Material Planning Object or Material Container

You can assign WBS elements in two ways:

On the WBS Element tab page for the respective objects in the MPO Workbench .
In the Project Builder application (transaction CJ20N). To do this, you must have defined the iPPE Object Assignment tab page in Customizing for Project Builder.
