 Direct Execution/Deletion of Staff Assignment

Use

You can fill a position with a person directly or assign a person to a force element directly (operational/exercise relationship). This assignment is stored in Active status.

You can also delete operational/exercise relationships of persons.

Note Note

You cannot delete assignments that represent a staff assignment proposal or assignments from the organizational structure that are included in the operational structure/exercise target.

Prerequisites

You may have to select an organizational measure before you can edit force elements.

Activities

You are in the edit mode of the Personnel Categories Planning application (transaction /ISDFPS/PERS1).

Direct Assignment
  1. Select the required force element.

  2. Choose Search for Personnel Categories .

  3. Find the required person using the search area. Enter the required search criteria and choose Search .

  4. Choose Start of the navigation path Select Processing Mode Next navigation step <Object Type> Next navigation step Create Staff Assignment End of the navigation path .

  5. Select the person you want to assign to a position or force element.

  6. Choose Create Staff Assignment .

  7. Enter the required object to which you want to assign the person.

  8. Assign contingents if required. Proceed as described in contingent assignment of force elements, see Creating/Assigning Objects for Op. Structures/Exercise Targets .

    The system creates the corresponding relationship in infotype 0748 in Active status. This is displayed on the relevant tab pages for operational/exercise relationships, as well as on the Staff Assignment tab page for the objects concerned.

Deletion
  1. Select the required force element.

  2. Choose the Staff Assignment tab page.

  3. Select the person whose assignment you want to delete.

  4. Choose Delete Staff Assignment.
