User Comparison After Temporary Interruption If the CUA connection is temporarily interrupted, you can use the
User Comparison Between a Child System and the CUA
application to compare user master records in the central CUA system with user master records changed locally, and correct any data inconsistencies.
You are using
SAP NetWeaver 2004s SPS 10
or higher.
You are familiar with SAP Note 922722.
The local system is connected to the central CUA system. See Temporary Interruption of CUA Connection .
The
User Comparison Between a Child System and the CUA
application provides the following views on tab pages:
Different Users
In this view, the
Overview
area displays users that exist in both systems but for which data is inconsistent
.
Note
"Inconsistent" refers only to user master data that can be maintained globally. Locally-maintained master data that is inconsistent is displayed but cannot be reconciled.
The system displays the user distribution status
for each user
in the
Status: User
field
. If the system indicates that the distribution has not been fully completed, complete the relevant distribution (see
ALE Status Monitoring
).
Data inconsistencies between the systems are displayed using symbols. If you double-click on a symbol, the system displays detailed information in the second screen area. You have the following options to transfer the data:
To transfer a user
completely,
specify in the overview whether the data from the CUA system is to be copied to the local system (
Central
option) or whether the data from the local system is to be copied to the CUA system (
Child
option).
Alternatively, the detailed view allows you to specify individual values that are to be copied in either direction (both options are automatically selected in the overview). For some values, the direction of transfer has to be the same. In these cases, the system adjusts the selection automatically.
To start transferring the data, select the user from the overview and choose
Transfer Users.
Exclusive Users in Child System
In this view, the system displays users that exist in the local system but not in the CUA system.
Choose
Transfer Users
to transfer a selected user to the CUA system.
Choose
Delete User
to delete a selected user from the local system
.
Non-Existent Users in Child System
In this view, the system displays users that exist in the CUA system but not in the local system.
Choose
Transfer Users
to transfer a selected user to the local system.
Choose
Delete User
to delete the assignment of a user to this local system from the CUA system
.
Identical Users
In this view, the system displays users that exist in both systems without any discrepancies.
You are in the CUA system.
Choose
User Comparison Between a Child System and the CUA
application
(transaction /ISDFPS/CUA_USER_CMP).
Enter the local system whose user master data you want to reconcile with the data from the CUA system.
Choose
Execute.
Choose the required users or attributes and start the transfer using the relevant functions.
