 ALE Status Monitoring

Use

You use the Status Monitor for ALE Messages application (transaction BD87) to monitor the processing status of IDocs in ALE inbound and outbound systems and to process IDocs manually.

To make ALE status monitoring easier in a distributed system landscape , the Defense Forces & Public Security component provides the ALE Status Monitor for DFPS System Landscape application (transaction /ISDFPS/BD87N).

This application is upstream of the standard Status Monitor for ALE Messages and provides the following from every system in the system group:

  • A user-friendly overview of the systems relevant for the system network

  • The option of navigating to the status monitors of the displayed systems

Prerequisites

You are familiar with the Status Monitor for ALE Messages application.

Features

The central system provides you with an overview of all clients in downstream decentralized systems.

The clients are displayed, sorted according to system type , with the following detailed information:

Activities

Choose Refresh Status to update the display.

Select one or more entries and choose Check ALE Status. The Status Monitor for ALE Messages screen is automatically displayed.
