 [Price Lists Name] - UoM Prices Window

 

The window displays a particular item's prices per unit of measurement (UoM) in a specific price list. It is possible to define up to three prices with different currencies (Primary Currency, Additional Currency 1, and Additional Currency 2) for each UoM of an item in each price list. This functionality can be used when you wish to define an exact additional price for a particular UoM without having the original price be converted to a different currency during document processing.

Primary Currency - Unit Price is the default price to be taken into the Unit Price field in a document, unless the document's currency matches one of the additional currencies, and then the relevant additional currency price is taken.

The [Price Lists Name] - UoM Prices window is available only for items for which UoM Group is defined, meaning it is other than Manual.

To update the prices of an item's inventory UoM (the default UoM that is defined in the item master data record, on the Inventory Data tab) you need to go back to the [Price Lists Name] window. In the [Price Lists Name] - UoM Prices window, you can update all the other UoMs of the item.

To access this window:

  1. From the SAP Business One Main Menu, choose Start of the navigation path Inventory Next navigation step Price Lists Next navigation step Price Lists End of the navigation path

  2. In the Price Lists window, in the upper left area, select the Update Entire Price List radio button.

  3. Double-click the row whose [Price Lists Name] window you want to open.

  4. In the [Price Lists Name] window, change the required information in the fields described in [Price Lists Name] Window.

  5. Choose the Update button.

  6. Double-click the row of the item for which you want to define UoM prices.

  7. In the [Price Lists Name] - UoM Prices window, change the required information in the fields described below.

  8. Choose the Update button.

[Price List Name] – UoM Prices Window Fields

Line number of the UoM Code
UoM Code

Select any of the predefined item's UoMs.

To get the list of all of the item's UoMs, press TAB in the next empty row of this column; alternatively, choose the notebook icon in this field.
UoM Name

Once a UoM code is selected, the corresponding UoM name is displayed in this column.
Primary Currency - Base Price

The first row displays the Inventory UoM primary currency price, which is defined in the [Price List Name] window. For other UoMs, the price in this column is calculated automatically according to the selected UoM code, and adjusted in proportion, based on the inventory UoM primary currency price.
Primary Currency - Reduce By %

Enter the percentage by which you want to reduce the UoM Primary Currency - Base Price. The reduction is calculated immediately and reflected in UoM Primary Currency -Unit Price.

Any change in the Reduce By % field affects the unit price.

Primary Currency - Unit Price

In the first row, the inventory UoM primary currency - unit price from the current price list is displayed. For other UoMs, the price in this column is updated automatically according to the selected UoM Code, and adjusted proportionally, based on the inventory UoM.

You can update this price for any UoM other than the inventory UoM.

Additional Currency 1- Base Price

The first row displays the inventory UoM additional currency 1 price, which is defined in the [Price List Name] window. For other UoMs, the price in this column is calculated automatically according to the selected UoM Code, and adjusted proportionally, based on the inventory UoM additional currency 1 price.
Additional Currency 1- Reduce By %

Enter the percentage by which you want to reduce the UoM Additional Currency 1 - Base Price. The reduction is calculated immediately and reflected in the UoM Additional Currency 1 - Unit Price.

Additional Currency 2- Base Price

The first row displays the inventory UoM Additional Currency 2 - Unit Price from the current price list. For other UoMs, the price in this column is updated automatically according to the selected UoM Code, and adjusted proportionally, based on the inventory UoM.

Auto

Select this checkbox if you want particular UoM prices to be updated according to the reduce by % value, whenever the inventory UoM prices are updated in the [Price List Name] window.

When the Auto checkbox is not selected, particular UoM prices are not updated when you update the prices of the inventory UoM in the [Price List Name] window.
Copy Reduce By

Choose to open the Copy UoM Reduce By - Selection Criteria window.

You can copy the Reduce By % information from the current UoM item in the current price list to the UoM items in other price lists as you require.

The button is available only if there is at least one non-base UoM line in the window.
