Note Note

To display a complete overview of the relevant database tables, choose DB Tables in the Archive Administration application (transaction SARA).

End of the note.

In an archiving session the report selects only objects with the status To Be Archived. In a productive archiving session the system sets the status Archived in the selected objects after the processing is successfully completed. It is not possible to archive the objects a second time.

To support the following Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) functions, this archiving object is assigned to ILM object RPM_ITEM:

  • Snapshot

In a snapshot session the system selects all objects irrespective of the status.

  • Data Destruction

In a data destruction session the system selects objects with the status To be archived.

In case a version for a certain item exists, this version is archived in the same archiving session. In the log, archived versions are counted as archived objects.
