To display archived items, you use the standard application for managing Portfolio Management objects.

Prerequisites

You have activated the archive infostructure SAP_RPM_ITM_01 using the Archive Retrieval Configurator (transaction SARJ).

Features

In the standard application for managing Portfolio Management objects, the following functions are available to display archived items:

  • You can search for archived items using the standard search dialog for non-archived items.

  • You can search for archived items assigned to non-archived or archived portfolios.

  • In the detail view for an archived item, the fields are all not ready for input, and the functions to change object attributes are disabled or invisible.

  • For archived items, the system displays the information about dependencies between items as text (not as a link).

  • You can navigate to a project linked to an archived item. If the project is not archived, the functions to change project attributes are invisible or disabled.

You can also use the Archive Explorer application (transaction SARI) to display archived objects.
