Material
Definition
An item (product, goods and so on) that is the object of a business activity.
A material can be created, used in production, traded, or consumed.
Use
You can create a material directly in the cFolders system or you can import it from a backend system . When you create a material, you define material attributes . As a rule, a bill of material , which structures a material, is assigned to a material.
A material can have different versions, which you can link documents.
