Status Actions
Use
You can define the following actions for a status:
Notifications on the due date of a deadline
The system sends this notification when the deadline that you specify for reaching the specific status has passed.
Notifications on the process flow of a processing period
This reminder notification is sent in the background if the user responsible for processing a status object has not converted the status of the object for the defined due deadline or for the process flow of the set processing period to the subsequent status.
Notification
The system sends a notification, which can be a manual notification or based on a notification template , when an object obtains the specific status.
In all cases, the notification receives a text that was either generated by the system (
Automatic Text Generation
) or generated manually by you (
Manual Text Generation
), that is you have the option of sending an
automatic status action
or a
manual status action
.
Prerequisites
You have created a status profile with several statuses. You have created a deadline action or a notification for the processing period for the status.
The object that you want to process is assigned to this status profile. The object currently has the status for which a deadline action or a notification for the processing period was created.
