You can see the dependency details, such as name, ID, and dependency type for a determining item and for a dependent item by clicking the dependency name on the dashboard of dependencies.

Prerequisites

You have created a portfolio, an item, and an item dependency.

Features

The following kinds of dependency types exist:

  • Finish-Finish: You must finish the processing of the determining item before you can finish the processing of the dependent item.

  • Finish-Start: You must finish the processing of the determining item before you can start the processing of the dependent item.

  • Start-Start: You must start the processing of the determining item before you can start the processing of the dependent item.

  • Start-Finish: You must start the processing of the determining item before you can finish the processing of the dependent item.
