Function documentation MIME Types and Symbols Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

In the standard configuration, files are displayed along with a symbol in the explorer. The MIME type of a file determines which graphic is displayed as its symbol.

Integration

The MIME types defined in the configuration are used in other parts of the configuration (see Online Editing and Local Editing, and MIME Types for Online Preview).

Prerequisites

The MIME handler service is activated.

Features

Many MIME types are already entered in the standard delivery. In addition, you can register your own MIME types.
