Use

 

This service is used to determine the MIME type of documents and to associate different document icons with different types of documents.

It assigns the correct symbols to files of various MIME types, and informs applications about the MIME types of files.

 

Activities

 

In the KM standard delivery, the MIME handler service is activated.

You can find this service under Content Management ® Global Services ® MIME Handler Service.
