Realigning Business Data 

Purpose

You use this process to realign business data. This could be the case, for example, if you want to reorganize sales areas and the sales representatives assigned to these areas.

Prerequisites

You have completed the IT processes Implementing Mobile Scenario, Executing Device Rollout, and Enabling Runtime and Synchronization.

Process Flow

The functional unit for this process is Data Orchestration Engine (DOE).

       1.      Back-end user updates subscription information. (Back-end system)

When the subscription-relevant information is updated, the back-end notifies the DOE of the changes.

       2.      System re-distributes application data to device queues. (Mobile)

In this step, the DOE redistributes application data.  It also updates the consolidated data store (CDS) and the receiver queues.

       3.      System receives updated data at next synchronization. (Mobile)

Result

You have now completed the data realignment.
