The buttons in the main toolbar provide shortcuts to many of the most-commonly used functions in the main menu.

The following table describes each toolbar button:

Button

Description

New (New)

Displays the Create New Model dialog box, in which you specify information about the model that you want to create.

Creating a Model and Development Component

Open (Open)

Displays the Open Model dialog box, in which you select the model that you want to open.

Opening a Model

Close (Close)

Closes the currently-active model. If there are unsaved changes in the model, you are prompted to save them before closing the model.

Save (Save)

Saves the changes made to the currently-active model since the last save operation.

Save All (Save All)

Saves the changes made to all open models since the last save operation.

Manage Models (Manage Models)

Opens the Manage Models dialog box, in which you manipulate the models and development components in the Visual Composer development environment. For example, you can create new models and development components, and perform source control operations such as check in and check out.
