Configuring Producer Instances on Your Consumer Portal

Applicable to: remote role assignment, remote delta link, WSRP application sharing 

Once you have added a producer instance to your portal, you use the producer semantic object in the Portal Catalog to do the following:

...

       1.      Edit connection properties and metadata of the producer (see Editing Connection Properties to Producers). (Optional)

       2.      View the alias of the producer (see Viewing a Producer Alias).

       3.      Test the connection to the producer from your portal (see Testing the Connection to a Producer).

       4.      Register you consumer on the producer (see Registering and Unregistering Your Consumer Portal).

       5.      Assign permissions to the producer object (see Assigning Administrator Permissions to Producer Objects).
