Editing Connection Properties to
ProducersApplicable to: remote role assignment, remote delta links, WSRP application sharing
You can use the Producer Editor to view and edit the connection properties to a producer portal. The connection properties enable a consumer portal to locate the WSDL file on the producer portal upon registration.
● The connection properties for a NetWeaver producer include its protocol, host name, and port number.
● The connection properties for a non-SAP producer include a full URL to the producer's published WSDL file.

Do not modify any of the producer properties in the Property Editor, unless you are specifically instructed in the documentation to do so or by an official SAP support person.
This topic describes how to view and edit the connection properties to a producer portal.
● You have access to the federated portal administration tools in the standard System Admin role on your portal.
● You have been assigned at least administrator read-write permission to the producer object.

The producer may inherit the permission assigned to its parent folder in the Portal Catalog. For example, NetWeaver Content Producers or WSRP Content Producers.
...
1. In the consumer portal, navigate to System Administration → Federated Portal → Myself as Content Consumer → Manage My Producers.
2. Locate the producer object in the Portal Catalog.
3. Open the producer object in the Producer Editor.

If you edit a producer with which you are currently registered, the Producer Editor opens in read-only mode. In read-only mode, you cannot modify the producer properties, but you can change permissions, test connections, unregister, and assign producer aliases.
To change the properties, you must first unregister your consumer; however, unregistering has implications on data persistence. For more information, see Registering and Unregistering Your Consumer Portal).
4. Edit the connection properties as you did in the Producer Wizard when adding a producer object to your consumer portal. For more information, see:
To change the display name of a producer, modify the Name property in the Property Editor.
5. Click Save to apply any changes you make.
6. Click Close to close the editor.
