You need to assign collections to each translator so that they can call up the objects belonging to these collections in a worklist and translate them. Each translator can also display translation statistics for the collections assigned to them, to enable them to monitor their personal workload.
The user(s) to whom you want to assign collections are created as translators in LXE_MASTER. .
Your translator profile includes authorization USCO with value 01 (if you are assigning collections to translators in your team) or with value 02 (if you are assigning collections to translators not in your team). To assign collections that are not assigned to you, you also need authorization COSE with value 01 .
The procedure for assigning collections depends on whether you have been created as a coordinator for all languages (language ****) or for just one language, and whether you want to assign collections to one translator or several translators at the same time.
Collection assignment takes place in transaction LXE_MASTER on the
tab page.
The table below describes the three possible procedures:
|
Activity |
Procedure |
|---|---|
|
Assign collections to one translator (all coordinators) |
|
|
Assign collections to several translators (coordinators for one or multiple specific target language(s) only) |
Caution
All collections that you select here are assigned to the translators irrespective of how those collections are defined in the translation graph. This means it is possible for you to assign collections to a translator that are not relevant for translation. |
|
Assign collections to multiple translators (applies to coordinators created for ALL (****) target languages only) |
|
After successfully assigning collections to translators, they can now call up the objects belonging to these collections in a worklist and translate them. Each translator can also display translation statistics for the collections assigned to them.
