Appropriate translator profiles must be available. For more information, see Working with Translator Profiles .
Each translator you want to create in the translation environment must already have a system user in the system.
To create translators in LXE_MASTER, your translator profile must include the authorization object USER with the value 01 .
You need to create translators in transaction LXE_MASTER so that you can assign them a translator profile to control what activities they can perform and so that you can assign collections to them. The translators can then start translating, by calling up a worklist of objects belonging to the collections assigned to them and creating proposals for the source texts in these objects.
You create a translator for one target language if they translate into a specific target language.
If a user needs to perform translation or coordination tasks for several, but not all target languages, you must create this user as a translator/coordinator for each individual target language in question.
If a coordinator needs to perform tasks for all languages, you create the user for target language **** (all target languages).
It is not possible to assign collections to a user that is created as a translator/coordinator for target language ****.
Only create a user for target language **** if they do absolutely no translation and purely coordinate.
For information on how to delete translators and obsolete translators (users defined as translators in transaction LXE_MASTER but for which the system user has already been deleted) and the consequences, see below under Result .
Call up transaction

To create multiple translators for one target language more quickly, proceed as follows:

In the Translators dialog box, choose Clipboard .
The system inserts the translators' user names.
Select the translators to whom you want to assign the same translator profile, and choose Profile . Double-click the profile you require from the list that appears.

This function only checks system users in the current client. This means that if you translate in more than one client and have different system users in each client, this function is potentially dangerous and should be used with care: You could accidentally delete translators in LXE_MASTER for whom system users exist in a client that is not the current client.
