Many Business Workflow work items are launched by default as SAP Transactions in the SAP GUI for HTML.

For reasons of simplification and improved visual integration into the Enterprise Portal, application scenarios and customers often prefer to re-implement work item visualization and execution using iViews.

Implementations of these visualizations require knowledge of the Business Workflow API to retrieve work item information and to perform item completion.
