Using the Integrated POD
On the initial screen of Integrated POD, enter the SFC number, process lot, or shop order you are working on in the SFC field. You can specify the SFC number by:
Scanning in the SFC number
Browsing the SFC field and selecting the SFC number in the Task List.
Entering the SFC number in the SFC field
Using the SFC Selection activity.
Note
To select an SFC number using SFC Selection, the SFC_SELECTION_REQ activity rule must be set to YES.
The Task List displays the SFC numbers in a queue that are waiting to be processed at this operation. To see a shorter list, enter just a few characters of the SFC number in the SFC field. For example, entering ABC12 displays all SFC numbers that contain ABC12. You can select multiple SFC numbers in the Task List.
If you enter a shop order number in the SFC field, all SFC numbers in the shop order must be in a queue and waiting to be processed at this operation. If you enter a process lot number in the SFC field, all SFC numbers in the process lot must be in a queue at this operation.
In the upper half of the screen, enter data as required:
Operation
Note
You can select the operation you are going to work on using SFC Selection. To do that, the OPERATION_LIST_REQ activity rule must be set to YES (see Using SFC Selection).
Resource
Note
If you use SFC Selection to specify the operation, and if the resource was defined as the default one for the selected operation in Operation Maintenance, the system automatically populates this field.
Choose Start to indicate you have started working on an SFC number.
If necessary, repeat steps 2-3 for all the SFC numbers you have started working on.
As you work on SFC numbers, select them from the Active Work List. Note that in the case of the Integrated POD, the SFC Browse is configured to show both In Queue and Active Work SFC numbers.
Record your work by choosing the functional pushbuttons (see POD Pushbutton Activities).
