You use this activity to record the results of your testing, analysis, repair, and inspection of PCA boards in the system. This activity allows you to view and interact with graphical schematics and CAD files of the boards you are working on.

Prerequisites

You have set up the following rules in System Rule Maintenance Maintenance (see Serialization Rules and PCA Dashboard Rules):

  • D2B Server

  • Copy NC Data

Rules

The following table describes rule and settings that you can change for this activity in Activity Maintenance:

Rule

Setting

ALLOW_PARTIAL

YES: The partial processing of SFC numbers in the POD for immediate scrap is allowed

NO (default): The partial processing of SFC numbers in the POD for immediate scrap is not allowed. The entire SFC number quantity is dispositioned.

Fields

The following table describes fields requiring explanation:

Field

Description

Disposition Quantity

Displays the value of the quantity entered in the POD in the Quantity field

Note that this field appears if the ALLOW_PARTIAL activity rule is set to yes.

Total Defect Count Quantity

Displays the sum value of all defect count values entered for the NC codes that were logged for the SFC number

Note that this field appears if the ALLOW_PARTIAL activity rule is set to yes.

SFC Act

Displays more detail about the SFC number. The POD displays the SFC report in a separate screen.

D2B

Displays and hides the graphical CAD files for the SFC numbers in the PCA dashboard

IPASS

Immediate pass

You can use it when you log a test failure in error or pull samples. Completes the SFC number and sends it to the next operation as though it passed the test. Does not log a repair or verify defects.

Note that it is enabled only in Analysis or Combined mode.

FPASS

Forced pass

You can use it when you retest an SFC number and verify the defect. Completes the SFC number and sends it to the next operation instead of moving it back to the test operation.

Note that it is enabled only in Repair or Combined mode.

Send Event

Enables sending of a notification
