Using the Work Center PODsYou have set up Work Center
PODs in POD Maintenance
(see Setting Up Work Center PODs).
You have set up necessary data in List Maintenance.
You have set the Display End Unit Number
system rule to True
in order to display the End Unit Number
field in the POD.
In the POD Selection
area, fill out at least one of the following fields to find the SFC numbers you need to work on:
User
Retrieves SFC numbers that have been specifically assigned by a supervisor only
Work Center
Retrieves SFC numbers assigned to a specific work center
End Unit Number
Retrieves SFC numbers that have a designated end unit number associated to the SFC number
Retrieve the data. The POD displays information about the SFC number in the POD Work List
(see POD Work List).
Select the SFC number you need to work on from the POD Work List
. The POD displays the routing steps belonging to the selected SFC number in the Operation List
(see Operation List).
Choose one or more routing steps from the Operation List
to start working on an SFC number.
Choose Start
either to indicate that you have started working on an SFC number or to join other users working on an SFC number at the same operation.
Note
If you want to join other users working on an SFC number at the same operation the IGNORE_NOT_INQUEUE
rule for the Start
activity must be set to YES
otherwise you can only labor on the SFC number (see Start).
If required, repeat steps 5-6 for all SFC numbers you have started working on.
As you work on SFC numbers, select them from the POD Work List
, and record your work by choosing the functional buttons (see POD Button Activities).

To deselect a row in POD tables, press CTRL and choose the row using the left mouse button.
