One step creation of relationships

The one step creation of relationships enables you to enter relationship specific data referring to a business partner that is not yet recorded in the system. This means that you can edit relationships of a customer to a business partner that you create in parallel. For example, you can create an organization, a person and the relationship contact person. The corresponding data is submitted and approved using the same change request.

Data cleansing and merging

Potential duplicates can be found using the search or the duplicate check. If similar master data records are considered to be duplicates, a cleansing case can be created. A master data specialist can then investigate whether these customer data records are duplicates and if so, merge the best data of all records into one single master data record.

Using IBAN for bank details

Within the bank details you can enter data for bank account, bank country and bank key and have an IBAN created automatically – or vice versa, you can enter an IBAN and the system calculates the corresponding data, using the IBAN information.

SAP HANA search

The SAP HANA search provided with Master Data Governance for Customer 7.0 offers you an error-tolerant search with a hit list ranked by relevance.

Enhanced CRM integration

The CRM integration enables you to distribute a wider range of data into CRM client systems. As of Master Data Governance for Customer 7.0 you can distribute ERP customer specific attributes such as sales area and partner functions. The data is mapped to the corresponding data structure provided by CRM.

Replication of BP data between SAP CRM and SAP ERP without CRM Middleware

This feature enables you to verify and correct customer master data from SAP CRM in the MDG hub before storing this data in the connected SAP ERP, without using CRM Middleware:

Customer data that is created in an SAP CRM can be replicated to the MDG hub for verification and correction. After final approval this data can be replicated from the MDG hub to the connected SAP ERP. In a similar way changes to customer master data in SAP ERP can be replicated to the MDG hub for verification and finally can be replicated to the SAP CRM.

After the customer master data is available in the SAP ERP, CRM objects related to the customer, for example sales orders, are replicated to the SAP ERP using CRM Middleware.
