Use

You can also use RFID in Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) to optimize your goods receipt and goods issue processes.

Prerequisites

      You have made the required settings in Customizing for SAP EWM. For more information, see Prerequisites for RFID.

      You have made the required settings in Customizing for SAP All. For more information, see Customizing in SAP All.

Features

In goods receipt and goods issue, RFID is used in the following areas in the warehouse:

      Goods receipt and goods issue posting using RFID:

With goods receipt and goods issue posting using RFID, you can adjust and define the standard check using the implementation of BAdI: Check for Whether Loading/Unloading, GR/GI Posting Is Allowed, if goods receipt or goods issue postings for handling units without EPC information are allowed. The transaction data for HUs is used to check whether the corresponding HU has an RFID label or not, in other words, whether ID information is available or not.
