Selection Results: Batches / Stock
Purpose
In the navigation area of the Batch Information Cockpit, you can choose between two types of display for the results of the selected batches:
Here, the main focus is on the selected batches. The batches are displayed in accordance with the batch definition level.
Here, the main focus is on the stock situation of the selected batches.
Integration
Normally, the Batch Selection Result and Stock Selection Result show only the selection fields that also exist on the
selection tab titles .You can use the Business Add-In for selection enhancements to integrate fields into the Batch Selection Result that do not exist on the selection tab titles. The display fields in the data area of the selection result are oriented mainly to the sequence of the selection tab titles and their selection fields. You can also change the constellation and sequence of the display fields in the batch / stock selection result and save them as layouts ().
The fields of the key block in the Batch / Stock Selection Result (material, plant, batch, and so forth) are generally displayed. Regardless of whether these fields are defined as selection fields.

Selection Results: Batches
The Selection Result: Batches consists of the key block and the data area.
Key Block
The system displays the batches in the key block sorted by material, plant, and batch number. If the batch level is defined as cross-plant, then the plant is not displayed in the key block.
Data Area
Depending on the selection fields and/or the layout (see below), the system displays batch-specific information (shelf life expiration date, classification data) and material master data in the data area.
Selection Results: Stock
The Selection Results: Stock is also made up of a key block and a data area.
Key Block
The stocks are displayed in the key block, regardless of the batch level. They are sorted by
Data Area
Depending on the selection fields and/or the layout (see below), the system displays batch-specific information (shelf life expiration date, classification data) and material master data in the stock data data area.
Opening and Closing the Subareas
To open the Selection Results: Batches choose . To open the Selection Results: Stock choose .

Adjusting the Navigation Area
To extend the navigation area across the whole screen, choose . Choose to restore the navigation area to its original size, as defined in the
User Settings. Choose again to completely close the navigation area.Legend
To find explanations of the symbols that appear in the selection results, choose for the legend.
Display Format
Within both areas of the selection results, you can choose whether the system displays the results as a hierarchy ( Hierarchy) or as a list ( List).
For the Selection Result: Stock, the list is the most appropriate display format if you want to summarize stocks.
Layout
The display of the selection results is flexible. For example, you can adjust the width and order of the columns. You can use the dropdown menu under to maintain layouts (for example, to define a layout as the initial layout).
Batch Worklist
The
Batch Worklist is fully integrated into the BIC. Choose to open the Batch Worklist and choose to close it.In the batch / stock selection result, you can copy selected entries to the worklist via Selection in Folder or using Drag&Drop.
Follow-Up Actions
In the three subareas of the navigation area (Selection Result: Batches, Selection Result: Stock, Batch Worklist) you can choose Select Follow-Up Action to simultaneously trigger follow-up actions for several selected batches (for example, changing the batch status).
To be able to trigger follow-up actions, at least one follow-up action must be assigned to your user group.

Authorization Check
Basically, during the selection the system checks whether you have the correct authorization for the fields on the selection tab pages. If this is not the case, then after you have executed the selection, the symbol appears in the Authorization column in the key block for all entries for which you do not have authorization. If your authorization is not sufficient, the system will not display certain data.
