Purpose

In the navigation area of the Batch Information Cockpit, you can choose between two types of display for the results of the selected batches:

Here, the main focus is on the selected batches. The batches are displayed in accordance with the batch definition level.

Here, the main focus is on the stock situation of the selected batches.

Integration

Normally, the Batch Selection Result and Stock Selection Result show only the selection fields that also exist on the selection tab titles .

Note

You can use the Business Add-In for selection enhancements to integrate fields into the Batch Selection Result that do not exist on the selection tab titles. For more information, see Customizing for Batch Management under Batch Information Cockpit ® Selection Enhancements ® Business Add-In: Selection Enhancement.

The display fields in the data area of the selection result are oriented mainly to the sequence of the selection tab titles and their selection fields. You can also change the constellation and sequence of the display fields in the batch / stock selection result and save them as layouts (This graphic is explained in the accompanying text).

Note

The fields of the key block in the Batch / Stock Selection Result (material, plant, batch, and so forth) are generally displayed. Regardless of whether these fields are defined as selection fields.

Choose Utilities ® User Settings to adjust the navigation area of the BIC (Selection Result: Batches/Stock, Batch Worklist) to your individual requirements.

As a standard, SAP delivers two follow-up actions for changing the batch status:

For more information on the follow-up actions, see Customizing for Batch Management under Batch Information Cockpit ® Follow-Up Actions.

Authorization Check

Basically, during the selection the system checks whether you have the correct authorization for the fields on the selection tab pages. If this is not the case, then after you have executed the selection, the symbol This graphic is explained in the accompanying text appears in the Authorization column in the key block for all entries for which you do not have authorization. If your authorization is not sufficient, the system will not display certain data.
