Configuring Enterprise Workspaces PropertiesLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

A large number of enterprise workspaces features and capabilities can be activated using configuration properties. You access the configuration properties in the portal, under Start of the navigation path Workspace Administration Next navigation step Configuration End of the navigation path. The configuration screen is divided into tabs, where each tab represents a category, such as custom screens or features. The properties are divided between the tabs, according to the category they relate to. Each tab requires either Workspace Content Administration rights or Workspace System Administration rights in order to view it.

The following tables describes the tabs that contain the configuration properties.

Content

Content-related properties, such as:

  • Restricted items, such as URLs that should not be displayed in the URL module

  • External content providers, such as Knowledge Management and Web Page Composer

Custom Screens

iViews that replace standard UIs for:

  • Workspaces

  • Personal Workspace Creation

  • Workspace Status

  • Module Status

  • Module Content

For example, the screen to display instead of a closed workspace or an expired module.

Configuring Custom Screens

E-Mails

Templates for system-generated e-mails sent as a result of changes in:

  • Workspace status

  • User status

  • Workspace quota

For example, the e-mail sent when a workspace is closed, or when a user is added as a manager of a workspace.

Module settings, such as:

  • Maximum number of module templates in Module Library

  • Properties of module template icons
