Configuring Workspace Properties

Use

The following table describes the properties you can configure in the Workspaces tab under Start of the navigation path Workspace Administration Next navigation step Configuration End of the navigation path .

Prerequisites

You are assigned the Workspace System Administration role.

Property	Configuration
Management properties	Configure workspace properties such as: The service that determines which template to use for a specific user when creating a personal workspace. The service that handles requests for approving the creation of a shared workspace.
Expiration properties	Specify the service that handles expired workspaces. In addition, you can configure the following: Start time and interval of the scheduled task that checks workspace expiration. Add the values to display in the expiration field when creating a shared workspace, using the following values: -1: Never. If this is the only value, the expiration field is not displayed when creating a shared workspace, and all workspaces never expire. <Integer>: number of months. For example, adding the values 3, 6 and 12 displays the following values: 3 months, 6 months, 1 year. 0: Custom date, which opens a calendar for selecting an expiration date. Maximum number of months for an expiration period.
Ownership properties	Configure properties related to the ownership of a workspace, such as sending notifications regarding a workspace that has no owner.
