Creating New Classification Systems in the Services Registry
Classification systems delivered by SAP are available in the Services Registry in SOA Manager (transaction code SOAMANAGER). For more information, see the documentation on predefined classification systems in the Java-based services registry on the SAP Help Portal at http://help.sap.com. You can also add your own classification systems.
In SOA Manager (transaction code SOAMANAGER), on the Services Registry tab, choose Services Registry.
You can either define values for the Dummy classification delivered by SAP or create your own.
On the Classifications tab, select the Dummy classification in the list and choose Edit.
Choose Create and specify a classification name, a namespace, and a description.
In the details panel at the bottom, on the General tab, you can specify whether the classification is read-only.
On the Values tab, enter one or more classification values.
You have created a new classification system. You can now assign these classification values to the services definitions and the bindings. Also, in the advanced search for Web services, you can enter classification values as search criteria.
