Procedure

You can find a Web service in the Services Registry in two different ways. If you know something specific about the Web service, you can enter it in the search field. Since the Web services and bindings in the Services Registry are classified according to various classification criteria, you can also browse through the classifications.

Searching for Web Services in the Services Registry
  1. In SOA Manager (transaction code SOAMANAGER), on the Services Registry tab, choose Services Registry.

  2. On the Published Entities tab, enter your search criteria.

In a simple search, you can find a service definition or binding by searching for its internal name or part of the name, the publishing system, and its state. In an advanced search, you can add classification values as search criteria.

  3. Choose Go.

The entities that match your search criteria are displayed in a table at the bottom.

  4. To display details about a service definition or a binding, select the row in the results table.

On the tabs at the bottom, you can display general information, bindings, classifications, publishing systems, and administrative information.
