Uploading Content
You can upload existing content from your local PC directly to a page or to a Knowledge Management (KM) shared content folder, such as the Global Shared Content or a Shared Content folder of an area.
Web Page Composer supports the upload of all content types allowed for the KM repository in which the content is stored. By default, all content types are allowed. If you want to restrict the content types that can be uploaded, you must specify a file extension and size filter for the KM repository in question.
You have decided on the storage location of the uploaded content depending on how you want to use the content in question. For more information, see:Creating Web Content
When you upload content directly to a page, the system stores the content items in the corresponding folder of the page, which resides under the Staging Area folder of the KM repository. In the content library, the page folder and its content are filtered. Therefore, you can access content items uploaded directly to a page only from the content editor.
