You can use Postprocessing Office for as many software components as you like. The software components can be in the same logical system or in different logical systems.

Connecting Software Components

Connect all software components involved to the Postprocessing Office (see Connecting a Software Component).

Defining the Redirection of Object Types

To process postprocessing orders from a certain software component only while displaying data from another software component for selected object types of this software component, execute the Customizing activity Defining Redirection to Other Software Components under Object Types in Customizing for Postprocessing Office.

Setting Up Worklists
  1. In Customizing for Postprocessing Office under   Worklist   Define Worklists  , create the worklists for the required software components.

  2. Assign the organizational units and/or users to the worklists (see Changing Worklist Assignments).

Result

You can display and edit postprocessing orders and objects across software components.
