You can use this function to display all the information about a term, for example, its original language, when it was created, and any glossary information that it contains.

      Note Note

      The Invalid after Release information refers to the last release in which this term is valid. For example, if the Context displays a term as being invalid after Release 4.0A, this means that the term is still valid in Release 4.0A, and will cease to be valid in Release 4.0B.

Activities

Display All Languages

To display the term in all languages, into which it has been translated, choose Display All Languages (Display All Languages) from the application toolbar.

Navigate Between Terminology Concepts

If your results list contains more than one term, you can branch to the terminology concept of the previous and next term by choosing the Previous Entry (Previous Entry) and Next Entry (Next Entry) icons from the application toolbar.

Display the Where-Used List

You can use this function to check where the given term is used in glossary links, which are used in documentation created in both SAPscript and in the Knowledge Warehouse.

To display the where-used list for a term entry, choose Where-Used List (Where-Used List) from the application toolbar. A dialog box appears containing a list of the documents. You can select a document from the list in order to see the text.

Delete the Entire Terminology Concept

This function enables superusers to delete a term, along with all its translations, as long as no glossary entry exists for this term. For more information, see Deleting Terms.

Maintain a Target Text Term

You can move directly to maintenance for given language entries (designations) from the terminology concept display. This function is visible as a maintenance icon () next to each designation.

Superusers can use this function to delete language-specific entries (designations) in the terminology concept. This function is visible as a deletion icon () next to each designation. For more information, see Deleting Target Language Terms.
