Communication Party
A communication party enables you to represent extensive units that exchange messages with each other in collaborative processes, for example a company.
You can assign each communication party one or more services and address these services as the sender or receiver of messages.
You have created a new communication party or have opened an existing one.
The object comprises the following information:
The object key is simply made up of a name, which is assigned when you create the object. We recommend that you use a meaningful name here so that the navigation tree is easy to understand.
You can specify identifiers for the communication party to identify the communication party uniquely. By using these normalized identifiers, you are not dependent on any existing external identifiers that are valid for the party.
In order to be able to use additional identifiers for the party, you can also specify alternative identifiers. In the collaboration agreement (in the communication channel) you then define which of these identifiers are to be used for a particular combination of sender and receivers.
