Activities

...

       1.      Call the function Create Object. Choose Object ® New (This graphic is explained in the accompanying text) in the main menu (or Create Object (This graphic is explained in the accompanying text) on the toolbar).

       2.      Specify the required information. Select the object type first and then specify the object key.

An input help is available to help you specify the key values. To call the input help, use the icon This graphic is explained in the accompanying text. The value selection contained in the input help can depend on the values that have already been defined for other key attributes. Fields marked with a red asterisk are required fields.

The system calls the object editor for this object. The specifications that you made when you created the object are displayed in the header. You can edit the object further in the work area of the object editor.

Caution

Once you have confirmed your specifications in the Create Object dialog by choosing Create, you can no longer change the object key.
