Use

By assigning services to application components, you implicitly determine the sender and receiver services of the connections of the integration scenario. You can further refine the assignment of sender and receiver services at connection level by activating or deactivating individual sender/receiver relations for each connection.

Furthermore, you can assign communication channels and calculate collaboration agreements.

Prerequisites

You have use the integration scenario configurator to select an integration scenario (component view) and assign services to the application components.

       1.      In the Configuration Steps bar, choose the step Configure Connections. The Configure Connection dialog box for the first connection appears. The navigation arrows (This graphic is explained in the accompanying text and This graphic is explained in the accompanying text) enable you to navigate the other connections in the integration scenario.

Note

You can also call this dialog directly from the component view diagram. To do so, position the cursor on the connection that you want to configure and choose Configure Connection from the context menu.

       2.      In the Configure Connection dialog, you can activate or deactivate the sender/receiver relations for the selected connection (checkboxes) To activate (deactivate) all sender/receiver relations, in the menu bar of the integration scenario configurator, choose Settings  ® Connections ® Activate All (Deactivate All).

       3.      Assign communication channels for all active sender/receiver relations (if applicable). For more information see: Assigning Communication Channels.
