Manual Data Harmonization Locate this document in the navigation structure

As a harmonization user you use manual data harmonization for the following purposes:

  • Reviewing worklists and processing work items

  • Defining and editing mapping of source to harmonized objects

  • Editing harmonized objects in single editing or mass change mode

  • Defining unit conversions for source products

  • Mapping of source attribute values to allowed attribute values

Note Note

Manual changes are passed on to the consuming applications using a specific data delivery agreement that is defined in Customizing.

End of the note.

The following table list the available user interfaces (UIs) for data harmonization and explains how they can be used:

Manual Mapping

  • Search: Source Products

  • Search: Source Locations

  • Get an overview of existing source objects

  • Display attributes of source objects

  • Display dependent objects, for example name/value pairs

  • Only for object type Product: Define the conversion of the base unit of measure of the source product to the base unit of measure of the assigned harmonized product

Editing Source Objects

  • Search and Mass Change: Harmonized Products

  • Search and Mass Change: Harmonized Locations

  • Get an overview of existing harmonized objects

  • Display attributes of harmonized objects

  • Display dependent objects, for example alternative units of measure for products

  • Review the list of assigned source objects

  • Remove the assignment of source objects

  • Change attribute values for single objects or for multiple objects at the same time (mass change)

  • Review the data origin of the attribute values

  • Only for object type Product: Define alternative units of measure for mass and volume with conversions

Editing Harmonized Objects

Note Note

These UIs can only be reached by navigating from another UI that contains source objects.
