Resolving or Disregarding Work Items in Manual Mapping Locate this document in the navigation structure

You can let the system resolve the work items in your selection. Depending on the work item type, the system performs the action that is needed to resolve the problem that caused the creation of the work item. If the action succeeds, the work item is deleted.

You can also disregard a work item. The system does not resolve the work item, the problem that caused the work item can persist or occur again. The work item will then be recreated.

The following table shows the system actions that are performed when you choose Resolve or Disregard in the Manual Mapping user interface:

Work Item Type

Resolve

Disregard

Map Manually

The system retries to map the source object.

The system deletes the work item.

Confirm Mapping

You confirm the mapping that needs approval; the mapping is stored on the database.

You reject the mapping, the system removes the assignment of the source object and deletes the work item. A new work item for manual mapping is created.

Perform Pending Mapping

The system retries to save the mapping on the database.
