Creating PLM Documents for Cards 
This function is a method of the PLM Document business object. The system carries out all the important business-related steps that need to be executed in order to successfully set locks on lockable objects in accordance with auditing requirements.
The prerequisites described in the PLM Document section must have been met and the listed settings made.

1. On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Account Management ® Posting Lock Management ® PLM Document ® Create ® Create PLM Document for Card(s).
2. Enter the business partner whose card(s) you want the PLM document to refer to.
3. Enter the event type on which the PLM document is to be based, and choose Continue.

You can select the event type by double-clicking the Event Type Classes/Event Types group box.
4. The system reads the event type and generates a view of the PLM document with the tab pages permitted by the event type Customizing.
5. Now edit the tab pages that are displayed.
A PLM document from the Card document category generally has the following tab pages. You may be able to edit these, depending on the document status of the PLM document and the Business Workplaceindicator.
