Function documentation OBN Parameter Mapping  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

Different applications often encapsulate identical business data in parameters having different names. For example, location information in a navigation source may include the parameter city when the parameter name for the same data on the navigation target is name. When designing OBN source-to-target navigation, the ability to map parameters ensures that the target receives parameter values in the way that it expects, and so can display business information correctly.

Prerequisites

The target iView is supported by the Application Integrator. Supported iViews include the following:

Transaction iViews

BSP Application iViews

BEx Web Application iViews

Crystal Report iViews

IAC iViews

MiniApp iViews

Web Dynpro Java iViews

Web Dynpro ABAP iViews
